How To Use The Small Corn Harvester Correctly

2022-05-16

1. The small corn harvester should enter the ground at a low forward speed, but the engine must reach the normal working speed before the harvest, so that the threshing machine can run at full speed. Before the self-propelled small corn harvester enters the ground, the working gear should be selected, and the stepless speed should be reduced to the minimum speed. When the forward speed is increased, try to achieve the stepless speed change, and avoid changing the gear position. When receiving the ground, slowly raise the header and reduce the forward speed and turn, but the throttle should not be reduced to avoid blockage of the barrel. Please familiarize yourself.

2. Adjustment of small corn harvesters. The self-propelled corn harvester should adjust the threshing gap, the front and rear position and height of the reel, etc. according to the corn yield, dryness and wetness, natural height and lodging condition at any time during the harvesting process; Such adjustments should be made before entering the ground. Be sure to pay attention.

3. Choose a large throttle operation. Small corn harvesters should be operated with maximum efficiency. At the time of harvesting, the throttle should always be operated. It is not allowed to reduce the forward speed by reducing the throttle, as this will reduce the drum speed, resulting in lower work quality and even block the drum.

4. Selection of work gears. In the harvesting process of small corn harvesters, reasonable working gears should be selected according to factors such as wheat yield, natural height, dryness and wetness.

5. Choice of working width. Under normal circumstances, the combine harvester should be full of operations, but when the corn production is too high or the humidity is too high, when the minimum operation is still overloaded, the cutting width should be reduced, and the general cutting width can be reduced to 80% to meet the requirements. .

6. Harvest of dry crops. When the corn has matured and passed the suitable harvesting period, it is easy to fall off during harvesting. The speed of the reel should be appropriately lowered to prevent the loss of the flakes and the speed of the operation, and the operation speed can be reduced. Or harvest in the evening.

7. Harvest of fallen crops. When the horizontally lodging corn is harvested, the reel can be appropriately lowered, but generally it should be harvested on the other side of the lodging direction to ensure thorough separation of the corn, smooth feeding, and reduction of corn kernel loss; harvest of longitudinally lodging crops should be Working in the reverse direction, but the reverse harvest requires empty return, which seriously reduces the efficiency of the work. When the crop lodging is not very serious, it should be harvested back and forth in both directions. When reversing the harvest, the reel should be adjusted to a forward tilt of 15°~30°, and the reel should be lowered and backward; The plate teeth of the reel are adjusted to a position inclined by 15° to 30° backward, and the reel is raised and forward.
