1. Check if the coolant is sufficient
2. Check the amount of oil in the oil pan
3. Check whether the fuel in the fuel tank is enough
4. Check the belt tension and adjust if necessary
5. Check whether all parts of the electrical system are normal, especially whether the wiring is loose, damaged, whether the connector is rusted, etc.
6. Clean up debris on the engine
Note: Abnormalities in electrical wiring should be eliminated in time, otherwise it may cause vehicle fire accidents.
Check if the coolant is sufficient
Check whether the coolant is added enough, but not too full, there should be 1/10 expansion space.
Generally, soft water or antifreeze is used as the coolant, and the national three engines must use antifreeze.
Check the amount of oil in the oil pan
The vehicle must be parked on a flat ground
When checking the oil level, the engine must be stopped for 10-15 minutes
If you often find that the amount of engine oil is insufficient, please check whether there is a leak, and if necessary, please go to the local Yuchai service station for inspection.
If you find that the oil level exceeds the upper engraved line and is higher than usual, please do not start the engine at will. You should immediately contact the local Yuchai service station for inspection.
Note: When adding oil: oils from different manufacturers of the same grade cannot be mixed, and oils of different grades from the same manufacturer cannot be mixed.
Before starting, draw out the dipstick
The oil level should be between the two scale lines, and the shortage should be added in place
Check if there is enough fuel in the tank
See if there is oil in the fuel tank
Look at the indicator oil level
Please go to a regular gas station to refuel. Do not use private "cheap oil". Engine failure due to oil products will not be eligible for normal warranty.
Check the belt
Check the belt tension and adjust if necessary:
Apply a force of about 30-40N vertically between the two belts, and the belt camber should be 10-15mm.
Check whether each part of the electrical system is normal, especially whether the wiring is loose, damaged, or whether the joints are corroded, etc.
Step 1: Check whether the starter wiring is loose
Step 2: Check whether the charger wiring is damaged or loose
Engine self-test
Turn on the main power switch, turn the key to the ON position once, and observe whether the fault indicator is self-checking.
Fault indicator self-checking process: The fault indicator lights up and goes out after 2 seconds, and the self-check is completed.
If the fault light is always on or flashing, it means that the engine circuit system is faulty. Please contact professional service personnel for inspection and handling.
Other checks
Others such as meters, sensing components, etc. must be normal and free of defects
Clean up the debris on the engine to avoid fire hazards.
